Raising a Salad Lover

We know that salads are low in calories but high in fiber, vitamins and minerals and that salads may not be your child’s favorite food.* Here are some tips that will help you pack lots of nutrition into salads your whole family will eat.

*Did you know?  Research shows it can take up to 8 to 10 times before a child will even taste a new food.  Don’t give up introducing new flavors and textures!  Just keep offering the (new) foods and lead by example.
